Jimmy Fallon and Several Other Celebrities Are Being Sued over Their Sale of Monkey Pictures.
Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Jimmy Fallon are among the celebrities being sued. Particularly and per a lot of well-known celebrities have been named as defendants in a lawsuit this week. The suit accuses them, among others, of failing to disclose their financial stake in a company that facilitates the purchase of Bored Ape Yacht Club (NFTs) while they were publically promoting the brand.
Adonis Real, Adam Titcher and other Ape buyers lost their money and are attempting to bring a class action suit against everyone involved. They are targeting Yuga Labs, the parent company of BAYC, as well as a few celebrity promoters (Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg), Stephen Curry, Kevin Hart and DJ Khaled are all named as “Promoter Defendants”), and Guy Oseary, a well-known music industry manager, who is being accused of setting up low key payments through Moonpay (in which many of the celebrities are investors), to pay them for endorsements.
