Net worth is partly determined by revenues from the last year only.

The Blast claims that West’s team was informed in advance about the article and is not happy with the way his value has been entered into the story.

In addition to his wildly popular music career, West also has a multiyear Adidas deal for his wildly popular Yeezy line. He also has a major Gap deal that will see his design and produce apparel for the company.

The Yeezy Gap collaboration in clothing sales reached $1 billion in its first year. Now, a new range, Yeezy Gap Engineered By Balenciaga, is due to be released later in the year.

According to The Blast, Kanye also has a small stake in the brand Skims, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s formwear brand.

According to The Blast, West believes that the publication is trying to control and diminish him at all costs.

Kanye isn’t the first to voice his dissatisfaction with Forbes.

After West was awarded the title of a billionaire in 2020, he allegedly sent the magazine a message in which he criticized their assessment of his net worth.

The article showed that the rapper gave documents to the publication, giving them an “authentic numeric look at Kanye, Inc.” to verify the feat.

The article mentions that West wasn’t happy with the research and conclusions. He believes that his net worth is around $3.3 billion rather than the $1.26 trillion they estimated.

According to West, West texted the publication: “It’s no billion.” Forbes doesn’t know how to count it, so $3.3 billion is the number.

Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, is the Forbes Billionaire List’s top pick. He announced earlier this week that he had purchased a share in Twitter and was able to land a seat on SpaceX’s board.

The mogul’s net worth is currently estimated at $219 billion.

He is joined by Amazon’s Jezzbezos, who is second with $171 billion. Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, is fourth with $129 billion.
