Musk, the entrepreneur, suggested on Saturday that he might launch a new social platform to counter Twitter. He said that Twitter “fundamentally undermines democracy” as it doesn’t protect freedom of speech.

Musk ran an informal survey on Twitter Friday that stated that “free speech is essential for a functioning democracy.” Do you think Twitter adheres to this principle?

The poll was answered by more than 2,000,000 people, with 70% saying that Twitter didn’t adhere to this principle.
