Bobby Wagner Signed With Rams: Perennial Pro Bowl Linebacker Agrees To A Five-year Contract With Los Angeles

This is a huge win for Los Angeles, as it hopes to be the first team since the 2003-04 New England Patriots that win back-to-back Super Bowls. 

The Rams were a top-five NFL defense last year in DVOA.

Wagner’s addition should help them keep that ranking this season. Wagner may not be the same pass-rushing presence as Von Miller, who signed a free-agent contract with the Buffalo Bills, but he will add to an already formidable defense that also includes cornerback Jalen Ram and star defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

The Rams have just signed another big signing. In free agency earlier, the Rams added star receiver Allen Robinson to an offense that was led by quarterback Matthew Stafford. Wideout Cooper Kupp is also on the offensive side. Now, Wagner is the cherry on the cake on the defensive side.
