Apple Stops Sales Of Products To Russia And Blocks Access To Russian News Apps

A spokesperson for Apple stated that the app restrictions have been made by Apple to ensure that Russian state news outlets RT or Sputnik can only be accessed in Russia.

Apple has stopped selling its products in Russia because of the invasion of Ukraine, a spokesperson for the company said Tuesday.

Apple has no physical stores in Russia. Instead, it ships its smartphones, tablets, and computers through its online store. Third-party retailers can also be purchased there.
