Amber Heard Claims Therapist Notes Prove that Johnny Depp was Abusive

Amber Heard has not let the jury have the final say after she awarded her ex-husband Johnny Depp $10.35million in damages in his defamation case against her.

Savannah Guthrie’s interview with Heard will air on Friday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC’s Dateline. In a teaser of 20 minutes, the actress shared notes from her therapist detailing her reports of alleged abuse dating back to 2012.

Because it was considered hearsay, the judge refused to allow the Fairfax County Circuit Court evidence.

Guthrie was told by Heard, 36: “There is a binder that contains a year’s worth of notes dating back from 2012 at the beginning of our relationship. These notes were taken by my physician, to whom I was reporting the abuse.”
