After Epsilon-6 Rocket Launch Goes Wrong, JAXA Pushes Self-Destruct Button
After its latest Epsilon rocket launch, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency had to press the self-destruct button.
The Epsilon Launch Vehicle, a small solid-fuel rocket that launches scientific satellites, is called a small rocket. The Register reports that the Epsilon-6 rocket launched Wednesday from Uchinoura Space Center with a payload weight of 110kg and eight satellites (RAISE-3QPS-SAR3, QPS-SAR4, MAGNARO MITSUBA KOSEN-2WASEDA-SAT ZERO, FSI-SAT).
