“They have tarnished their brand”

A New Jersey-based aunt, sister, and wife of a Disney fan reside in New Jersey. She said that the sharp left turn by Disney presents a problem for long-time Disney fans and conservatives.

“We are finished and will no longer be funding the [Disney] machine.”

She said, “Do you love Disney movies, stories, and art?” Yes. Are the theme parks my favorite? Absolutely. The theme parks are a source of creativity and stories for me. I love that.

She said that some of it was probably nostalgia for her.

She added that she did not love their politics. No! Their most recent political activism, which targeted Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act — a bill that most Americans support — has tarnished their brand.

She still hopes for the best. She said that her hope was for the company to come to its senses and remember who its customers were, then go back to what it does best: Entertaining ‘dreamers of every age’.

“Our children are going through enough”

A mother of a young daughter from Virginia Beach shared with us that her husband, a soldier man, was against Disney products and services long before she was.

The mom replied, “He said, “Absolutely not,” about any Disney-related matter, even before this garbage was out.”

She continued, “I believe that was the final straw for me as well as Disney.” “Our children have been through enough. They don’t need woke culture to ruin their innocence.

She said, “We are done funding [Disney] machines and will no longer be funding them.” I will also be disconnecting Disney+ from our household.”

Disney’s woke content “is not the first or last challenge that Christian parents will face”

James Spencer, PhD, president and founder of the D.L., said, “As a Christian father, of three,” Moody Center, Northfield, Mass. “I am always concerned about my children seeing, hearing and believing stories that lead them away from Christ and distract them from proclaiming His gospel.”

Let’s teach our children what it means for us to stand firm in the face of a fallen world.

He said, “While I have not banned television from our home, I spend time talking to my children about what they are reading, and watching, so they don’t trust Disney, Paramount or Netflix as much as they trust the Scriptures.”

He also stated that “Disney’s “woke” content might present a new challenge, but it is not the first or last challenge Christian parents will face.”

He said the following: “Christians would be well served to work together to create a new story that focuses on Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection. Disney may have contributed to a new story about God that denigrates and diminishes God, but they are not the only ones doing so.

He said that “As we think about how to cultivate a vibrant faith and hope in Jesus in the next generation, we must remember the Christian faith is something we not only know but also live out.” Let’s teach our children how to stand firm in our convictions, even in the face of fallen times, and proclaim the love of Jesus through word and deed.

“Going to Disney is something that I will never do again”

A two-year-old father from New York City, and son of a U.S. Army Veteran, has taken his children to Disney World in Orlando several times.

He stated this week that he thought placating a subset of loudest Disney employees, who clearly haven’t read the Florida bill, sets a dangerous standard. He said it was the same standard that progressives have used over the past 20-30 years. This scenario is where the most irritating, loudest and most annoying wheel wins the grease.

The father added, “The fact some Disney employees of higher rank are openly stating they’re going make sure that at minimum 50% of the characters in are LGBTQIA — when this subset of our society is less than 10% and probably less than 5 — means that I’ll either make sure I watch all of it fully before my children watch it, or I will just get rid of Disney as an entity to cut down on time.”

“Who would’ve thought Mickey would become politically correct?” He has.

He said, “Between these and the stupid prices to worsen experiences at their parks. The traditional family ‘plan” of going to Disney is something that I won’t do again.”

The father said, bluntly, that it was a shame because my son, who is in kindergarten this year, wanted to go. It’s not worth it, especially if Disney’s DEI (diversity equity and inclusion) initiatives mean that I’ll have to deal with Disney princesses’ who are penises.
