Pinkett Smith was the first to talk about her hair loss struggles on a Red Table Talk episode back in 2018.
She stated, “I have been experiencing hair loss issues.” It was scary when it started.

According to Girls Trip’s star, she was first diagnosed with alopecia when “handfuls” of her hair fell out in the shower.

“I was like, ‘Oh, my God, am I going to bald?'” She explained that it was one of those moments in my life when I was shaking with fear. “That’s why my hair was cut and I will continue to cut it.”

Rock made fun of Pinkett Smith at the Academy Awards. This was not his first joke about her. Rock hosted the 2016 Academy Awards event. She was one of the stars who refused to attend the ceremony because there wasn’t enough diversity in the nominees.

He said that Jada Pinkett Smith’s boycott of the Oscars was like mine boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited!”

Jessica Chastain won best actress for The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Jane Campion won the best director for The Power of the Dog, and Coda was awarded best picture by Apple TV.

Ariana DeBose won Best Supporting Actress for West Side Story. Troy Kotsur was awarded best supporting actor for Coda. The screenplay also received the best adaptation.

Six awards were won for sci-fi epic Dune, including technical categories for best visual effects or best cinematography.
