Trailer for ‘My Best Friend’s Excorcism’ Takes Us Back to The 1980s for a Satanic Ritual

Grady Hendrix’s second novel, My Best Friend’s Exorcism, was released in 2016. He describes it as “Beaches meets the Exorcist” and is a touching tale of friendship in high school and demonic possession. The movie adaptation will be available on Amazon Prime Video on September 30, 2022.

Damon Thomas (“Penny Dreadful”) directed the film. Elsie Fisher (Texas Chainsaw Massacre Eighth Grade, Eighth Grade), and Amiah Müller star in it. You can see the official trailer of My Best Friend’s Exorcism on Amazon below. It’s a blast from the 1980s with a side dish of demonic possession.
