Todd Phillips, Director of ‘Joker,’ Gives The First Glimpse at Joaquin Phoenix in The Film Sequel

However, it is known that Phoenix will be reprising his role as the disturbed villain Arthur Fleck.

The actor, 48 years old, will be joined by Lady Gaga. She allegedly plays Harley Quinn. Brendan Gleeson is also reported to have been cast in an unspecified role.

Phillips’ original “Joker”, which was a remake of the film, received 11 Academy Award nominations. It also won a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. His portrayal of Phoenix won him the Best Actor Oscar.
