However, critics were not impressed with its performance. According to Jordan Williams, ScreenRant, critics cited its lack of humor and excessive product placements and promotion of Warner Bros. property as reasons for the film’s poor reviews.

Space Jam: A New Legacy currently has a 26% score on Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer.

However, it has a 79% audience score. The original Space Jam had a 44% Tomatometer and a 63% audience score.
