EXCLUSIVE: “Daredevil” Disney+ Series in the Making With Matt Corman, Chris Ord

Ord and Corman most well-known co-created “Covert Affairs”, a USA Network series starring Piper Perabo, Christopher Gorham and others. Between 2010 and 2014, the show aired five seasons on the basic cabler. Most recently, they were executive producers and co-showrunners for the NBC drama series “The Enemy Within” (2010-2014) and “The Brave” (CW series “Containment” (2013-2014).

They are being repped by Entertainment 360, Goodman Genow, and Verve.

Since the Netflix series ended after three seasons, fans have been demanding more Daredevil. It was a long wait. However, Variety reported that the agreement with Netflix contained a clause that prohibited any characters from Marvel-Netflix shows from appearing in any non-Netflix project for two years following cancellation.

This move was made by Disney as it sought to unite its Marvel characters under one banner. Several Marvel Cinematic Universe shows have since debuted on Disney+. The last of these shows was “Moon Knight”, starring Oscar Isaac. , a trailer for “She-Hulk” series starring Tatiana Maslany dropped earlier in the week.
