Johnny Depp is clear about the power of TikTok. However, his lawyers reject the idea that it had any effect on the verdict. Instead, they claim Amber Heard’s testimony was what hurt her relationship with the jury.
Camille Vasquez, fresh from her promotion as a partner in her law office — and Ben Chen explained to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that their strategy was to use Amber’s words against her… carefully crafting their questions based upon her previous testimony. Vasquez believes this gave the jury everything it needed about Amber.
Concerning Team Amber’s claim , the jury was influenced by the overwhelming support Johnny received on social media — which included TikTok — Chew claims it “played absolutely no role” and the jury reached its verdict purely on the evidence presented.
