Prince William, Kate Make Their First Trip to the US in Eighteen Years.

Wednesday’s arrival in Boston was the first time they have been to the United States since 2011. After an aide made “unacceptable” and deeply regrettable remarks to a Black executive at Buckingham Palace, the couple flew into the city aboard a commercial flight.

Lady Susan Hussey, a godmother of Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II’s lady-in-waiting for six decades, was identified by British media to be the aide who made those remarks at Tuesday’s palace event. She repeatedly asked a Black British charity founder from where she was “really”.

Ngozi Fulani, Charity boss, stated that she was British-born after being identified as such to an aide at the royal wedding. The aide then asked her “where are you from?” “where did your people come;” and “when did it all start?”

William’s spokesperson said that racism has no place within our society and that these comments were unacceptable. It is right that the person in question has resigned.

Kensington Palace condemned the incident and said that the comments were “unacceptable” but that it was “right that an individual has stepped aside immediately.”

This is the couple’s first trip to the US since eight years ago their trip to New York eight. A few months prior to their 2011 wedding, the couple had also embarked upon a California tour.

William will use the trip to show how he plans to adapt to his new role as Prince of Wales from his predecessor. Catherine will try to charm the public, but on her terms – just like her former title holder.

In 2020, William established the climate change prize in an effort to bring together the best minds from around the globe to tackle the most urgent environmental issues facing mankind. Five winners will be awarded PS1 million each year (roughly $1.12m 1.12 million) help fund their innovative solutions to climate change.

President John F. Kennedy‘s speech in 1962, when he gave the US the task of space exploration, inspired the heir to the British throne to start the project.

Many gathered outside City Hall’s Speaker’s Corner despite the rain and freezing temperatures to catch a glimpse of the royal couple. As the couple walked out with city officials, the crowd cheered and screamed.

Prince William, who took the podium, told well-wishers that he and Catherine were “absolutely thrilled to be with you today for our first engagement here in Boston as we begin the countdown towards The Earth sho Prize Awards on Friday.”

The 40-year old royal stated that Boston was the “obvious choice” for this year’s ceremony because it is the former president’s home and “because your universities and research centers, and vibrant start up scene, make you a global leader of science, innovation, and boundless ambition.”

William said, “Like President Kennedy and Catherine, I believe strongly that we all have the potential to achieve greatness and that humans have the capacity to lead, invent, and solve problems.”
