Jamal Lewis Mourns NFL Legend Tony Siragusa Dies at 55

He signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 1997… and was a key member of the 2000 Super Bowl XXXV winning team.

Along with Ray Lewis and Rod Woodson, Siragusa, nicknamed “Goose”.

He helped the Ravens defend and set the record for the fewest points allowed during a regular season. This was on their way to winning a title.

He has accumulated 22 sacks over his 12-year tenure in the league and 564 combined tackles.

After his playing career, Siragusa became a nationally recognized analyst and sideline reporter for Fox. His unique style and knowledge about the game made him a laughing stock.

After retiring from the NFL in 1999, Siragusa hosted several television shows, including “Man Caves”.

Jim Irsay, Colts owner, just tweeted about Siragusa’s passing, writing, “The Goose Tony Siragusa has died at 55.. I’m as heartbroken as all of Colts Nation.”

Steve Bisciotti, the Ravens owner, also commented on Siragusa’s death, writing, “Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to Kathy and their three children, and the rest of our Siragusa family.”
