I Am Legend 2: Will Smith to Return and Star with Michael B. Jordan
While I Am Legend 2 has been discussed in several stages since 2008, the door to the sequel seemed to have closed in 2014. Instead, Warner Bros. announced that they were working on a new adaptation of Richard Matheson’s novel. Since then, there has been no movement on a new I Am Legend movie. However, it was recently revealed that Warner Bros. had begun a new entry to the franchise. At the time, it was not clear if this new film would be an update or a sequel.
It has been revealed that I Am Legend2 will be happening with Will Smith back as the star. Deadline announced that Smith will be back to star and produce the long-awaited sequel. It will also feature Black Panther, and Creed’s Michael B. Jordan. This is the first time Will Smith has worked with Michael B. Jordan on a movie. The script for I Am Legend 2 is being written by Akiva Goldsman. However, details of the plot have yet to be revealed. There are currently no details about a deal or release date.
