Broncos’ Mile High Stadium Caught Fire; Heavy Smoke And Flames Were Seen Within The Complex, Amongst Suite Seats

Empower Field at Mile High Stadium was set ablaze Thursday afternoon by the Denver Broncos.

Numerous social media videos captured billows from the area. A CBS Denver video suggested that the smoke could have originated from the suite level at the Broncos’ stadium. It was built in 2001 and rebranded in 2019. Since then, the Denver Fire Department confirmed that there was a fire in the stadium and announced that crews had begun extinguishing the flames on the third and fourth levels.
