Trump Sues Hillary Clinton
On Thursday, the former President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and others alleging that they conspired to “maliciously weave a false narrative that his campaign colluded in 2016 with Russia.”
Trump claims that he spent more than $24million to defend himself against the allegations. The lawsuit is filed by Trump, more than five years after his defeat of Clinton in November 2016.
“The Defendants conspired maliciously to create a false narrative that Donald Trump was colluding or being influenced by hostile foreign sovereignty.” The lawsuit states. Their scheme is so subversive, incendiary, and outrageous that it pales in comparison to Watergate.
Trump filed a 108-page lawsuit before the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida. He argued that “a substantial portion of the events and omissions giving birth to the Plaintiffs’ claims occurred in this District.” Trump lives in West Palm Beach, Fla.
