At An Eastern Europe Secret Airfield, A Multi-national Effort To Send Weapons Into Ukraine Moves At High Speed

Most notably, the huge Russian convoy that spans 40 miles north of Kyiv (the capital of Ukraine), has barely moved in days.

Another senior Defense official stated Friday that “We know they have attacked that convoy and that those attacks were successful in slowing down and stopping it.”

The equipment being shipped in is equipment that the Ukrainians have received training on, which included some “just in time” training in December and January. A senior official stated that the Ukrainians are able to “use proficiently” most of the military equipment being delivered.

Two months ago, the speed with which the US delivered weapons to Ukraine was dramatically slower than it is now. Officials said that the majority of the $200 million package approved in December was delivered within one month. However, some ammunition is still being shipped.

The $350 million package should be completed in the next few days, or even weeks.
