Queen Elizabeth II and Paddington Bear at Her Party At The Palace
The Queen might have skipped the music concert as part of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations but that didn’t stop her from stealing the show in a surprise role in a sketch to start the event.
Live viewers and the audience were delighted to see Paddington Bear make his way into Buckingham Palace, where they sat down for tea. He was quickly pouring her tea and the two were discussing marmalade sandwiches.
Two royal princes appeared on stage later in the evening to share their affections during the Platinum Party held at the Palace. This was the third night of the UK’s Jubilee Weekend celebrations.
William and Prince Charles spoke to the crowd. The concert was attended by 22,000 frontline workers, who purchased tickets for the event at Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of Queen Elizabeth II.
