Five Men Indicted in 2012 For The Killing Of Boxing Great Hector “Macho” Camacho

Authorities claim that there were many more involved… But those men won’t be in court because they were killed in unrelated incidents in 2013 or 2015.

Camacho, who was 50 at the time of his death, faced some of the most formidable fighters in his long career… which included wins over Sugar Ray Leonard (twice) and Roberto Duran.

It is not known what the motive was for this crime.

Camacho’s mother, an elderly woman, was delighted to hear about the arrests. She got a little justice for her son, according to the AP.

“They gave me justice.”
