“I went straight to the newsroom, and I started showing people. And everyone said ‘Prince’,” Liddy said.

We didn’t have enough equipment to see the film. We were able to extract the audio from a specialist. After being asked about the strikes by teachers, we heard the boy speak. As his friends cheered, the boy, who was probably around 10 years old, said, “I think they need a better education.”

It looked a lot like a child of Prince Nelson, the Minneapolis boy who would become an international music legend. There was one problem. The reporter did not ask for the name of the child.

“We didn’t get him saying I’m Prince Nelson’,” Liddy stated.

This triggered our investigation. Another young boy spoke just before Prince, the boy who appeared to have been interviewed. Without being asked, he spoke charismatically and said his name. Ronnie Kitchen was his name.

We spent the day looking for addresses and phone numbers in an effort to find Ronnie Kitchens at least 60 years of age. In the video, he looked like a young teenager 52 years ago. However, the addresses and phone numbers we were able to find were not correct.
