World’s Largest Darknet Marketplace Shuts Down!

The US-German operation shuts down Hydra Market, a Russian-language site, which is the world’s largest and longest-running illegal marketplace on the dark web.

The U.S. Justice Department (DOJ) and German authorities collaborated to seize and shut down the marketplace. Investigators report that the platform accounted for nearly 80 percent of all cryptocurrency transactions on the dark web, generating $5.2 billion in sales since 2016.
