Speedtest Data Confirms Starlink Internet Is Elon Musk’s Rare Win

It seems that Elon Musk‘s satellite internet services is at most usable.

This is the one conclusion Ookla’s most recent Speedtest report that measures Starlink’s first full year after its beta launch in 2020. Starlink’s average download speed increased by 38 percent between the first quarter 2021 and the first quarter 2022. It went from 65Mbps to 90Mbps. The latest numbers are actually slightly slower than the quarterly report for fall and winter 2021 in which Starlink had a median speed in the U.S. of 104Mbps.
