Selena Gomez in a Black Column Gown Was A Hit At The SAG Awards

Selena Gomez was ready to make waves on her 2022 red carpet debut. The Only murders in the Building actress walked out in a black column dress with an Oscar de la Renta cutout. Her hair was styled with a dramatic ribbon and a diamond necklace.

Gomez shared the transformation with Kate Young, her stylist on social media.

Only Murders In the Building is nominated tonight to win Best Ensemble in Comedy Series. Martin Short and Steve Martin, Gomez’s comedy series co-stars, were also nominated for Outstanding Performance by Male Actors in Comedy Series.

Gomez discussed working with ELLE. She stated, “I was in a space that had so much wisdom.” “They became my uncles.”

Martin echoed the sentiments of hm & Short: “We ended feeling very close to Selena.”

Short, Martin, Gomez and Martin are currently filming season 2, of The Show in New York City.

John Hoffman, the co-creator of only murders in Building, shared some information with ELLE.com in a Twitter Spaces discussion in October. He talked about what Gomez has in store for Mabel, Gomez’s character in it.

Hoffman stated that “I think what’s going be interesting in season 2–not to tip too much–but they’re a bit more expansion to all of their stories.” It doesn’t take very long for New York to have an interesting story make the headlines. There is expansion in every aspect of their lives and on the podcast. There’s something there that could help us expand the show in future seasons, perhaps beyond the building.

Hoffman spoke out about Mabel’s fate following the finale of the first season. It’s an awful way of putting it. It’s a legitimate question. They are all in the hot seat. All of them have been there, but Mabel is definitely more prominent. As we enter season 2, the potential that may arise from that is what intrigues us. Mabel’s world will get bigger in season 2.
