Robert Downey Jr. Shouts “Thank God It’s Over” after Johnny Depp Wins His Trial
Robert Downey Jr. is the latest celebrity to congratulate Johnny Depp on his victory in the defamation case against Amber Heard.
Johnny, the Tropic Thunder actor, called his friend Josh Richman via FaceTime to celebrate his win. This was revealed during a live charity stream for Children’s Hospital Los Angles.
Robert, 57, told Johnny, 59, an old friend: “John, thank you God it’s over” – the news of Amber’s call came amid Amber’s claim that the defamation trial verdict was ‘unfair.
Johnny’s spokesperson confirmed that Johnny called The New York Post via FaceTime.
Josh stated that the Pirates of the Caribbean star was “stoic” in a UK hotel when the news arrived, while his friends and family cried and screamed.
