Queen Elizabeth “pushed” Megan and Harry to make their Royal Exit

It was on January 8th 2020 the bombshell was dropped. On their official Instagram page, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would be “stepping down” as senior royals, and work to become “financially independent”.

The pair added they had reached this decision after several months of reflection and discussion, and would from now on divide their time between The UK and North America. The world was confused, and seemingly – so was the Royal Family. But there had been signs of trouble right before the news broke…
