King Charles Breaks With Long-held Royal Tradition to Coronate

According to the publication, Save the Date notices will be sent to guests this week. Official invitations will follow in April.

Daily Mail reported that the custom of the British monarch’s Coronation was to have only one crowned monarch present. This is because it is a sacred exchange between the monarchs and their people, in the presence God.

According to the report, King Charles decided to change the tradition of 900 years old by inviting his crowned friends (including rulers from Arab countries and European royals).

It stated, “Inviting King of Jordan, Sultan of Brunei and Sultan of Oman – all of whom are friends of Charles – will be a good deal of soft power, diplomacy and diplomacy.”

Daily Mail cited a reliable source and wrote that “You can expect to see the Coronation guest list more closely like that of a Royal Wedding than that for the Coronation 70.”
