Judge Rejects Amber Heard’s Post-Trial Motions Against Johnny Depp

Seven post-trial motions Amber Heard had filed to challenge the jury verdict in her defamation case against Johnny Depp were denied by a Virginia judge.

In June, after a lengthy trial, awarded $15 million in damages Depp and $2 million to Heard in defamation suits.
The attorneys for Heard requested a new trial. They claimed that the information on the jury panel lists sent to counsel prior to trial didn’t match one of the jurors and thus compromised Heard’s right to due process.
