Colin Kaepernick Displays a Strong arm during a throwing session at the Michigan spring game

This weekend saw Colin Kaepernick, a free agent quarterback, return to college as the honorary captain hosted an open throwing session at the Big House during the halftime of Michigan’s spring game. Jim Harbaugh, Michigan’s head coach, was present at the event. Harbaugh and Kaepernick were the San Francisco 49ers to Super Bowl.

Kaepernick took his last snap in the NFL on January 1, 2017, but he has been training for another opportunity. 

The throwing session started with short routes to flats. Kaepernick even managed to dodge a boom mic from the camera crew in order to make a pass on his first rep. He was also accurate in tossing a few slants, outs, and timing routes. This was despite not knowing the wide receivers well. The event was also aided by Coach Harbaugh, who directed the routes.
