Charity says that more than 300 dogs were found dead in a shelter in Ukraine after being without food and water for weeks

New reports of atrocities in Ukraine are emerging, and President Volodymyr Zilenskyy has charged Russia with genocide. However, disturbing footage from social media shows dead dogs at an animal shelter in Borodyanka in Ukraine.

UAnimals claims that the shelter’s 485 dogs were kept in their cages since the start of the war in February.

This was after the Russian soldiers fled Borodyanka. Charity volunteers were then able to bring the shelter back to life. According to the charity, dogs were left without food and water during that period. All but 150 of the 485 animals were dead by the time volunteers gained access to the building.
