Amazon’s New Robot Picker for Warehouses Uses AI Technology to Identify Objects

Amazon unveiled its latest warehouse robot. Sparrow, it says, “Sparrow” is the first robot in Amazon’s warehouses to detect, select and handle individual products. According to Amazon, the robotic arm uses AI to recognize millions of products and can handle them.

According to Amazon, robots can help it run its operations more efficiently and safer by being in its warehouses. Amazon stated that Sparrow will perform repetitive tasks and allow employees to concentrate their energy on other areas while improving safety. Sparrow will automate a crucial part of our fulfillment process, allowing us to continue to deliver customers’ products. It also stated that robots have enabled it to create over 700 new job types.
