Sony-Honda Aims to Compete with Tesla by Including PS5 in Its EVs

In September, Sony and Honda created a joint venture called Sony Honda Mobility. Although the company does not yet have a name, they have discussed how the venture can compete with other players in the electric car market. One possibility is to build a car around the entertainment options Sony has made famous.

The Financial Times has heard from the head of Sony Honda Mobility that they plan to create an electric car based on music, movies and the PlayStation 5. Sony has entertainment, content and services that move people. President Izumi Kawanishi stated that we are adapting these assets for mobility and that this is our strength against Tesla.
